CURRENTLY HIRING!

Columbus Township Fire & Rescue

Columbus Township Fire & Rescue, also known as East Columbus Independent Fire Department (ECIFD), is a group of men and women dedicated to saving lives and protecting property.  We are an ISO Class 4/4X agency proudly serving Columbus Township and Bartholomew County with a combination of career staff and volunteers.

There’s a fire. You call for help. Who answers? The vast majority of Americans live in places that don’t have a single firefighter on the payroll. “The Call” is a portrait of the volunteer fire service that steps up to answer this critical need, told in the unique voice of an animator who is also a volunteer firefighter. Credits: Written, directed, animated, illustrated and narrated by Jonathan Weiss (www.surfacist.com) Score and sound design by William Cusick (www.williamcusick.com) Additional voice acting by: J.J. Kaveny, Emergency Communications Dispatcher, Vermont State Police Ronald Waite II, Captain, Pawlet Volunteer Fire Department Special Thanks: Pawlet Volunteer Fire Department, Pawlet, Vermont (www.pawletfire.org) Ready to answer the call? www.makemeafirefighter.org
