Fire Chief Application

Expectations:

  • Fire Officer certification required.

  • Minimum 10 years experience in the fire service required.

  • Minimum 5 years experience as a fire officer/supervisor required.

  • Must currently be enrolled in or able to pass the physical and psychological requirements through INPRS/PERF 77. 

  • BS or AS degree in Fire Science, Public Administration, or Business Administration preferred.

  • Download application below. Submit completed application by email to apply@ecifd.org or hand-deliver to Station 21 at 935 Repp Drive, Columbus, IN 47203. All applications must be received by the deadline above. If delivering your application to Station 21, also send an email to apply@ecifd.org stating that the application was dropped off.
